Best Robotic Mop and Vacuum Combos
The majority of robot vacuum and mop combinations can be customized using an application designed specifically for the purpose. You can save maps of your house and organize cleaning schedules, and select the mopping mode you prefer. You can also alter the suction power and the amount of water the mop is using.
A mapping feature can help your robot navigate rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from hitting furniture, wires or stray pet toys. These are must-have features in my house, stuffed with strewn-about toys.
1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra
The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the company's flagship mop and vacuum, which is why it naturally comes packed with features. It can mop and sweep simultaneously, and can even raise its mop pads or brushes to ensure that soft surfaces don't get wet. It can also avoid obstacles by spotting pet toys, plants, and other small objects.
The robotic vacuum has a maximum suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum we've tested. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its location, which prevents it from getting stuck on objects.
Its mopping functionality is also impressive and features the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad, resulting in a deep clean. It also comes with a mop lifter system which lifts the pad automatically as it changes between tile and laminate hardwood, carpet or rugs, in order to prevent soaking soft surfaces.
The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and then drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it to forget about it. You will only need to refill the water tank or replace the dust bag occasionally.
All of this is powered by a 5,200mAh lithium-ion battery. The S8 Pro Ultra ran on its standard mop and vac-settings for about 160 minutes before beginning to run out of power and returned to its base to recharge. This isn't that far from the 180-minute time that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.
It's a robust, well-rounded product. The only issue is that it's costly. However, its sheer abundance of features makes it a very tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mop. If you can justify the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.
2. Dreametech L10S Ultra
The Dreametech L10S Ultra robot vacuum and mop is a premium combination. The price is justified by the robust features, such as a huge vacuuming capability and two mop heads that gyrate. It also comes with an app-enabled smart control system and an advanced obstacle-avoidance system.
The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuum and mop sets available, at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my tests, it performed admirably throughout the house. It was able to eliminate 98.4 percent of debris from all kinds of floors and managed to lift long hair without getting caught up in. The mops also performed well and produced excellent results for cleaning with less effort than many mid-range models. This was thanks to their rotational movement and an effective dose of cleaning solution.
However, the L10S Ultra's real selling point is its advanced multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag that can be used for dirt, fills up the water tank to use to mop and also dry mop pads. It also has a real-time safety detection system and allows you to schedule regular cleaning sessions with its smart controls.
In contrast to the other hybrid vacuum mops I've test and compared, the L10S Ultra doesn't offer advanced dirt pickup on carpets. In addition the mops aren't capable at scrubbing away tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.
Despite the L10S Ultra's top-of-the-line features it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent the growth of mildew or unpleasant odors, the base station dustbag, water, and tanks must be cleaned regularly, emptied, and dried. The mop pads sold separately also require replacement every few months.
Given the L10S Ultra's premium cost and robust features, I would recommend it to anyone who has the money for it. If you're on a budget, I recommend a more basic model that lets you to save money and still enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even it were the case that the L10S Ultra was the best vacuum and robotic mop you could find but its cost and constant maintenance will make it more of an item to have than one that you actually need.
3. Eufy S1 Pro
If you're looking for a robot mop and vacuum that will clean up dust and dirt on your hard floors while taking care of wet messes you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combination comes with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power. It also has a huge battery capacity that can be used for both vacuuming as well as mowing. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It has a mop with a roller that is self-cleaning which makes it stand out among other models which require you to return to the base station to wash off the mop pad.
The S1 Pro has a unique mopping mechanism that is different from the spinning discs and microfibre pads of other robots. The roller is nearly the entire length of the robot and it receives a constant supply of clean Ozonated, filtered water from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Any dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept away into the front collision bumper. Like most robotic vacuums and mop sets like the S1 Pro is ready to come out from the box. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can add a cleaning solution to the dock. If you opt for this option, however, you will be required to purchase the Eufy brand cleaning solution which is more expensive than other robot brands, allowing you to use your choice of cleaning products.
The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was fast to map a room and it was able to navigate around furniture. It was stuck on carpets with larger piles a few times during my tests. However it could be improved by re-updating the software. The S1 Pro is a very powerful robot that can be bought at an affordable price.
4. Roborock Qrevo
The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop however it has several impressive features. The dock's multifunction allows emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and washing and sanitizing mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system itself is capable cleaning up a significant portion of a space before it needs to return to its dock, and the vacuum's extreme suction is capable of picking up debris and pet hair from carpets.
The application that runs the appliance is dense, and offers many options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean all areas that are mapped by this device, or select specific rooms, expandable zone, or a custom routine you've designed. SmartPlan is one of the mopping options. It makes use of the sensors on the mops to map the space and determine the most efficient method to clean it.
The Qrevo was a great performer during our tests, just like the other Roborock models that we've tested. Its navigation system performs well by quickly mapping rooms and cleaning in a neat way. The 'Normal" pathing option covers the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, but it's not as sophisticated as color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can detect hazards like carpets that are thick, but it may not be able to identify smaller objects like rug tassels and electrical wires.
One of the biggest flaws of this machine is the lack of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for people who spend a lot of time vacuuming prior to cleaning with their robot. Thankfully, there's an easy solution: the app offers an option to "clean up" at the end of each session.
