A lot of the top models are compatible with your smartphone. Look for an application that lets you save maps, schedules and select cleaning modes.
1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro
Eufy's gunmetal-and-gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It uses lidar for navigation and creates maps of floors and rooms.
When I tested the S1, it was able to map our downstairs, which has linoleum flooring in the kitchen-diner and bathrooms, plus carpeting of medium-pile as well as a large area rug. It was able to drive close to walls without hitting them and even managed to cross raised room thresholds with no problem, although it sometimes struggled to get down the stairs in one move. The S1 also did an excellent job of cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor, and then lifting itself when it reached carpet or carpet.
The docking station on the S1 automatically empties its trash bin and fills its water tank on board with clean, ozonated waters prior to every mopping session. Its mopping is quite impressive, and comes with two spinning mop pads that actually lift and scrub floors, instead of simply dragging the pad across it. The mops are cleaned using heated water and dried in the base station when needed. The mops can also be replenished at the top of the station if they are required.
3. Dreame X40 Ultra
Dreame launched the luxurious X30 Ultra earlier this year, but their new flagship model of robot mop and vacuum comes with more impressive features. It boasts fantastic cleaning results and hands-free maintenance, making it a clear contender for our top mop and vacuum robots. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a longer side brush ensure a thorough, custom-designed clean.
The X40 Ultra vacuums well, it can remove both large and fine debris. It is a great choice on hard floors and carpets. It was able to clean the dirtiest areas of our tests with ease, avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping capabilities are augmented by a side brush that automatically moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, and an extending mop pad that is placed along baseboards.
Its navigation is intelligent that can navigate small spaces and negotiating stairways without skipping a step. It can move from one room to another without reversing direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. It features a powerful suction of 5500Pa and an auto-empty system, so you don't have to manually empty the bin every time. It comes with a smart app that lets you schedule cleaning times and determine the floor type. It also has an automatic water tank filling system and washing system that is hands-free.
The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power to take on dust, dirt, and pet hair on both hard floors and carpets. robot vacuum cleaners reviews was one of the few robots that we tested did not show issues with high-pile carpets and rugs. However, it did not handle kitty litter or cable tangles. This isn't a surprise as it doesn't have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.
